Rock and Roll

I have loved rock and roll
Since I was a boy
It has brought me such joy
It is like a toy
That you cant put down
That wont let you frown
That wont let you grow up
That gets better with age
Yet we have seen the rage
When a rocker dies
When a fan cries
It is such a sight
Yet try as we might
We cant forget Jimmy
Who made his guitar sing
And what about Janis
Wasnt she a beautiful thing?
And John had his way
But he lost it that day
And isnt it so sad
The guy was just mad
Just think of the potential
That these people had
Just think of the songs
That will never be bad.

Let the hate go

Let the Hate go
Let the hate go,
All over the land,
Peace can be at hand,
That's all that can stand,
Between you and fellow man.
Hate doesn't hurt your enemies so,
It just eats at your soul,
And brings you below,
So low.
So love your fellow man,
And help him when you can.
It will do more good for you,
And neither of you will be blue.

I AM NOT BORN TODAY
I AM NOT BORN TODAY

I AM NOT BORN TODAY

BUT ANYWAY

I HAVE HEARD THEM SAY

THAT THEY DONT LET SOME STAY,

THAT THEY THROW THEM AWAY,

I WANT TO BE,

I WANT TO SEE

WHATS OUT THERE FOR ME.

DONT CUT ME SHORT,

DONT ABORT.

DONT STOP MY BEING

WITHOUT SEEING

MY LOVE FOR YOU,

BECAUSE ITS SO TRUE.

DONT KILL ME NOW

BECAUSE SOMEHOW

I'LL LOVE YOU BACK

AND THATS A FACT.

AT LEAST GIVE IT A GO,

AND I WILL SHOW

YOU THE HAPPINESS WILL GROW.
